Access Surf
AccesSurf provides life-changing accessible water programs for people with disabilities. We have fun and nurture a sense of ‘Ohana and belonging by connecting as participants, family members, caregivers, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and staff. We generate waves of freedom that extend beyond the beach.

Heart Horses
Heart Horses is a unique therapy program for youth, adults, families, and groups that incorporates horses for growth, learning, and healing. We combine partnership with horses, while upholding high professional and ethical standards.

Kahumana Learning Center
Kahumana’s Adult Day Health program offers meaningful and interactive community-oriented opportunities for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, catered to the needs of each individual. The town of Kailua offers many volunteer, skill-building, recreational and social opportunities to provide life skills and education.

Maui Hope
Maui Hope is a 501c3 non-profit research and services organization primarily engaged in applied research in the field of developmental disabilities research and services. Our key objective is to serve while gaining comprehensive knowledge and understanding of special needs adult lifestyle, and investigating enhancements and advancement of this humanitarian social need.

Ho'omana
Ho`omana is a support group run by parents for parents of children/teens/adults on the Autism Spectrum in Hawaii. We are here to provide support, guidance, resources, and sharing of experiences from group members and facilitators. Groups run monthly on a virtual platform as well as special events and meet ups.

Maui Autism Center
We are a service provider offering one on one support for children and adults with autism and other related conditions. We help families who have children with autism by offering behavioral and educational services.
Services provided include ABA Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Teachers for Deaf individuals, and more.

A community providing education and resources – the Autism Society of Hawaii serves children and adults on the Autism disorder spectrum and works to develop opportunities for all those affected so that they can reach their highest potential.

Lanikila Pacific
Everyone deserves the chance to see what they’re capable of. For some adults with disabilities, that might mean developing basic life skills. For others, it may mean undergoing job coaching to perfect interviewing and resume techniques. Some may even go the distance and land a job at a local business, starting their career journey. Regardless of the path taken, our customized options at Lanakila Disability Services empower people with disabilities to know no limits.

TACA Hawaii
TACA chapters hold meetings, autism learning seminars, coffee talks, and family events throughout the year. Comprised of TACA Parent Volunteers across the country, our coffee talks and family events provide settings where families can informally network, share resources and speak with seasoned parents.

The Special Parent Information Network (SPIN) is a parent to parent organization in Hawaii that provides information, support and referral to parents of children and young adults with disabilities and the professionals who serve them.

Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii
Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii’s goal is to improve the minds and bodies of our riders, using our horses as partners. Our riders build strength in their bodies by learning to groom, saddle and ride. They improve their confidence by receiving unconditional love from animals. Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii specializes in riding instruction for special needs individuals, but provides therapeutic riding to individuals of any ability.

Special Olympics Hawaii
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
